🔥 Smoke & CO Detector Annual Service Plan

What We Do:

• Annual Visit by a trained technician.

• Functional Test of all smoke & CO detectors using Smoke-in-a-Can and CO tester spray (as applicable).

• Battery Replacement in each unit (9V or AA/AAA as required).

• Expiry Date Tracking – detectors typically expire every 7–10 years. We log each unit’s expiry and provide proactive replacements when due.

• Certified Report issued to the homeowner, showing test results, battery replacements, and expiry schedule.

• Automatic Scheduling – we come back each year, on the same or any date you choose.

We will on your behalf update Wilmot Township Fire Department of:

Pets on site

Oxygen use in the home

Mobility-impaired residents

We ask that you:

Make a Charitable Non-Perishable Donation to the Food bank of Waterloo Region each year we visit to perform your annual Life Safety Inspection.
